They are intended for babies who have already started solids and are progressing with textures and flavours as part of complementary feeding.

How does Baby Likes fit into a baby’s diet?

Usage
Can I freeze Baby Likes pouches?
We want every spoonful of Baby Likes to be perfect! We advise against freezing our pouches because it can spoil the lovely texture of our organic ingredients. Freezing creates ice crystals that make the food a bit watery when it thaws. To keep our Baby Likes flavours at their best, simply store them in a cool, dry place and enjoy them fresh!
Can I microwave Baby Likes pouches?
No.
Our pouches have an internal aluminum layer to protect the food’s freshness.
Never place the pouch itself in the microwave. > How to heat safely:
- Stand the pouch in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes.
- Alternatively, squeeze the food into a microwave-safe bowl and heat separately.
Always stir and test the temperature before feeding your baby!
How long does a pouch last once opened?
Once opened, a Baby Likes pouch should be refrigerated immediately and consumed within 24 hours.
Why does the food look separated or watery when I open the pouch?
Seeing a little liquid on top is perfectly normal and actually a sign of our purity! Unlike many mass-market brands, Baby Likes uses no chemical stabilizers, thickeners, or emulsifiers.
Our recipes are just like home-cooked meals; because we use natural and organic ingredients, the natural juices can sometimes separate. Simply give the pouch a gentle shake before opening or stir the meal in a bowl to bring it back to a smooth, delicious consistency.
How to tell the difference:
- Natural Separation: The food looks clean, smells fresh, and recombines easily when stirred.
- Spoilage: In the very rare event of spoilage (usually due to a microscopic puncture in the pouch), you would notice visible mould, a bloated pouch, or a fermented smell.
If your pouch looks and smells fresh, it is perfectly safe and full of the 'early start to goodness' your baby deserves!
